Texture Sets


IMPORTANT NOTE
The following lists provide links to all texture sets from the original games. Lucas has done a great job organising the 64x64 pixel sets for you.

With the arrival of the NGLE, we are now able to use 128x128 texture panels in this editor. The following Big Texture files were ripped from the original games and have been resampled into 128 x128 pixel format. Of course there is a limit to the resolution improvement when you increase an image size. After a bit of experimenting I settled on a conversion method that renders the images as close to the originals as possible. So now that you have them here you can mix these textures with other hi-res textures when you start creating your 'Big' texture sets for use with the NGLE. Note:The AOD, Legend and Anniversary textures are true hi-res 128x128 textures not resampled textures.

Also please note that you most likely will need a tool to merge the tiles you want and arrange them in order if you want them to animate properly. If you wonder why this wasn't done before the files were uploaded, it's very simple - you're unlikely to use all the the textures from a single tga so simply copy to your project texture file the tiles you want.
